Batch files in SSH

Well, I need to run about 300 SSH commands through an SSH client and I was wondering if I could just write all the commands in a text file and then run it somehow on the SSH client.

Its possible just create a Shell file normally with the .sh extension the first line requires the shebang line

#!/bin/sh

Under that have the Shell Commands, you can run it two ways /bin/sh myfile.sh or giving the Shell File Executive permissions

chmod +x myfile.sh

then ./myfile.sh

great, it works thanks. But I have another problem, when I write a few lines of wget in the script file, it executes then and gives a 404 error on all of them except the last one, and all the commands are correct, if I type them one by one it will work...

Not sure about that it may have something to do with not having an absolute path with wget, however taking a look at how your using wget, as Ive had no problems with a quick basic script using wget

Sorry, I fixed it. Its because I wasn't writing a ; at the end of each line so it counted a few lines as one and gave a 404 error.
