displaying hidden divs with link from another page.

this is somewhat complicated to explain, but here it goes, and any help will be greatly appreciated.

i have three files:

index.php
content.php
drdMain.php

content.php calls up drdMain.php via an include function.

drdMain.php has a handfull of links:
link1
link2
link3
each link displays content in corresponding div tags that by default are hidden.

index.php has the same links that are on drdMain.php. what i want to do is be able to click on link1 on the index.php page, and have it go to content.php?content=drdMain.php and display the corresponding div.

the actual files are here:

index = socalredcross.org/socal/index.php
content = socalredcross.org/socal/content.php
drdMain = socalredcross.org/socal/content/index/drd/drdMain.php

if you look at the lower right of the index page you will see links under "donor resources"

the same links appear at:

socalredcross.org/socal/content.php?Content=drdMain

so i want to be able to click on the links on the index page and go to the content page and display the corresponding hidden divs.

i hope that makes sense.

any help will be greatly appreciated.

consider links of the form

<a href="content.php?content=drdMain.php

. if my response makes no sense, please provide a clearer explanation of the problem.

this is good, but this does not display any divs, this only goes to drdMain.

did you go to the pages i listed?

i want the link on index to go to "content.php?content=drdMain.php" and display div 1 or div 2 depending on the link clicked in the index page.

I am trying to do something similar with a web site I am working on.

I have four employees listed on a page.
Instead of having four pages with a little blib on each, I would like to use hidden divs to display the little blib as each employee is clicked on.

I need some guidance on how to set this up.

The part I am not sure about is putting the php variables in for the section numbers.
This is exactly what I need but, I need to use the variables from my php scripts.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

why not have the link to content.php?content=drdMain.php&div=1

then in your div you have an if state

if($_GET['div'] != "1"){ echo hidden; }

if you are wanting to do this without refreshing the page look into some javascript functions.
