Opening in the same page

Hi,
I want to make authentication in same page. I mean, when the user enters his/her username and password thw whole should not be reloaded. Only the text fields of username and password should change to a welcoming sentence including user's name.

In Delphi selecting "Partial" can make things open in same window but I couldn't make it in PHP.

Anyone know how to?

just point the form action back to the same page.

Set the login form action to the page itself, e.g. to $_SERVER['PHP_SELF']

I also have more problems.
I want use colorful and graphical text area for news editing. Know where can I find the script? or the code?

Also when uploading files I want to upload like Yahoo mail. After writing the needed fields I click the submit button. After uploading the files program returns to the form page remembering the areas by using form-post method. But this time I can't submit my form because by submit button works for uploading!
Hope I could explain my problem 🙂
