convert mssql to mysql database?

ve a pretty neat dataabase function currently working on my server. My friend want the same thing, the only catch is that he doesn't have mysql (only mssql), is there an easy way to make my mysql database use mssql or do you think I should install the lastest version of mysql on his server?
Also, can I install phpmyadmin on his server too so I can easily administer his database.
