[RESOLVED] Session ID Changes in Mozilla Browser

I've run into an annoying little problem. When I am using Firefox or Netscape and I log into a site where I've set up a session I get one session id for mysite.com and ANOTHER session id for WWW.mysite.com. This makes it very hard to use session variables! Can anyone shed some light on this?

One other note - this behavior doesn't happen in IE

in your coding why dont you add a $sitename that holds the full path of your website. then after first viewing mysite.com all your links will be www.mysite.com and the problem wont be there anymore.

I've answered this same problem a few times recently - you have to use [man]session_set_cookie_params[/man] and set the domain of your cookie to .mysite.com WITH the preceeding dot allowing the cookie to be used on both sites. Same thing stands for when you use setcookie and want it readable on both domains.
