[RESOLVED] using php to change colors of an image

hey guys,

Im about to embark on a new adventure with php.

I want to have php change colors of an image depending on inputs etc..

anyways to start simply.

how would I go about changing the white to display as red... for eg.

or if you have a tutorial link handy?

I am not sure what you are going to ultimately use the final images for, (what ARE you going to use the final images for?) but you could create a gif image where the bg is black like you have and the t-shirt is transparent. Then, you could put that image in a div tag, and change the color using css classes. :- )

im going to overlay a seperate image over the top of that one , once again depending on input..

ie different designs.

I want to manipulate the images so i can get a red shirt with given design color etc..

you can use GD library functions in PHP

it have a bunch of inbuilt functions to manipulate images...
