convert xml list to object

Hi there🙂

Trying to convert an xml list to an object, without having to use DOM, as my computer soesn't support it. (Sablotron is what my computer has, not Microsoft)
So how do I do this? I've seen that i can use expat, but how? i'm totally green.

Please help ASAP!!!!!!!! :o

you can find an html parser here that will turn any document with <> tags into an object...haven't looked at it but might be helpful as a starting point.
