Are post counts correct?

Do I really have this many posts on this account? - it seems to high.

And, I just noticed that Weedie has over 10,000 posts. I could have sworn that the other day it was around 8,000 or os. Not that I pay much attention, but I was like 'wow, 8000 posts!' when the new board launched so I remember that (I think).

And, since I'm on the subject, is there any way to merge my old account (vaska) with my new account (vaaaska)?

(I guess this should go in a different forum but since jpync has been around so much lately I'll put it here).

Weed is a posting machine, i swear he has developed some bot seriously he must do as much work as I do when I sleep 🙂, but yea we better congrats him on a belated 10,000 quite a milestone.

Actually, I think he was nearly 10000 before the forum change.

Dont think there's a problem with the post count, but I think you've been posting so much that you dont feel it anymore :p

Maybe it was 9000 you remembered seeing; dalecosp made a note of it, so it would have been more memorable and now seem more recent than it was.

That happened to me a short while back: I was flipping through the CD artwork for Hello Nasty, and saw the blueprint drawing of the robot in the Beastie Boys' video for "Intergalactic".

Now, if you'd asked me a moment earlier when "Intergalactic" was released, I'd have said 2000 at the latest. But no, it was 1996 and I was left wondering what had happened to the other four years.

Oh, geez, and now they're pushing 40. I feel way too old.

Weed was at 9900+ before the forum change. Witness bradgrafelman's takeover plan. I noted that the final assault (BW warning - large image)would be difficult; at the time, Weedpacket had 9952 posts; "ls -l" indicates that the date was July 2nd....

It doesn't really matter when Weedpacket got 10000. The important thing is that Weedpacket overtook vincente (9796 posts). 🙂
