Few small PHP issues

Ive got a few problems at the moment...

First is, what makes the tags from url's such as profile.php?id=sei to not store? That's the url I have in one of my pages, and on my home computer, it works ok, but upload it to my host, and it doesnt. 2 hosts, actually, I've tried it on.

I debugged it with
echo "1 :: $id" and on mine, it printed what it should, when the link was clicked "1 :: sei" but just "1 :: " on the host servers.

Next up concerns most of my files actually, in that sessions dont seem to be acting right, or at least I dont think they are :S

I admit for now its a bit messy, but im trying to get it to work and then tidy it up.

What ive seen so far now work is: profiles dont carry the id tag on; after logging in apparently the headers have already been sent out, and I get 2 errors from login2.php on line 53; when trying to add a news article, the author name doesnt appear in the box like it should; and when clicking on the submit button, I get the same errors as before, but on line 2 of header.php.

All my sql database names/field names/passwords are right (and its not "hidden", before you try 😛), so I just dont know what it is...

Oh, and how do I access a database on another server if it isnt localhost?

Ok, ok, so my title of Retard Of The Year is warranted here >.<

All I had to do was create a php.ini file, with "register_globals=on" in it, and put it into the directory my php files were in since HeartInternet have it off by default.

But that does still leave me with the larger problem of the logging in and it telling me the headers have already been sent...:S

Ahh, I was curious as to why it'd be disabled by default...thanks :-)

Anyway...any luck with the database side of things at all? Im still no further to working that out...

If database thing is MySQL,
you have to ask somebody else.
I do not deal with that mess .. 😃

I save data into files using LINKS:

Well, not sql as such, thinkin about it it could be a problem even if I wasn't using a database.

Current problems:
The username doesnt enter as it should when posting a new news article (probably another form of $_GET command needed, but not sure)

When trying to use sessions, it returns that the headers have already been sent, although I just can't see at all where. Its on login2.php and addnews2.php

If you want to see what it says, user name "Seiteki Hinote", pass "testme"
