readfile (UNICODE)

Hi,

My PHP is configured in UTF-8 mode. Sometimes I need to display the contents of a file which is in UNICODE. I am trying to do this with readfile() but I just get garbage. How can I do this ? please advice.

What kind of garbage are you getting? Could you give an example of such garbage? That'll help us answer your question.

I should add that my input is Chinese UNICODE.

I guess my quesiton is: how can I visualize Chinese characters on a web page thru a readfile() or include() or a similar thing ?
