Well comparing that to others its exceptional most avg 20 or so I believe, however since Im not too sure on features, implementation what the queries actually do and there complexity its a bit hard to say.
Now Im not saying its bad you may have done a lot of work optimizing the database structure (Normalization), queries etc but the real test if 9 Queries is ideal is when its tested under heavy loads, how slow the queries are processed, with the loads does data become corrupt?
