I have a website where I have a page for each target market. On that page, I have 10 listings each with a link on them.
I want to track:
The target market (product)
Which position gets clicked
Date of click
I already have a products table with the name of each target market.
What is the best structure for this sort of thing? Should I have the following fields?
LogID, Date, TargetMarket, Position1, Position2...Position10
or
LogID, Date, TargetMarket, Position
Or what else?
One of my concerns is the amount of data a MySQL database can handle. If I get 5,000 visitors per day to my site, will the database quickly become huge? Or, what would 30 days of 5,000 visitors become? What kind of file size?
Thanks,
Jon
