Copy/fetching an image from a remote server to mine

Hello, I am trying to get an image (*.jpg) from a remote server not in my domain and fetch this image such I can make a copy of it onto my server. Any ideas how to proceed.

I know the address of the image. It will has an address similar to this one:

http://www.tsunami.no/images/big_wave.jpg

you want to make a copy? then use the [man]copy[/man] function:

copy('http://www.tsunami.no/images/big_wave.jpg ', '/path/to/your/server/big_wave.jpg');

this will work if allow_url_fopen is ON
