Hi all

I've been working on a site for a society. One of the features they want (rather, I said they should have 🙂 ) was a listing of the leadership. We also proposed putting photos of the leaders here.

Now the leadership changes frequently, and I've made it all easy to modify and change by the user. But problem strikes. When I need the photos updated, I can't assume the user has the technical capacity to resize and crop a mugshot before he uploads it. Currently they upload entire photos, but when these are squashed down to the small square that is the standard photo size they're completely useless..

Any ideas on how to solve this?

Yeah, I'll be using that to do the imagine manipulation, but I'm lacking an overall concept.. basically all the user has a photo that, somewhere, contains the face needed. And I need to create a setup that'll convert this into a smaller image with the face cropped & resized..
