[RESOLVED] Multiplying fields in different tables

I have two tables: prices and sales. To calculate the sales for the day, I need to do the following:

sum(Product1 x Price) where Product1 is in the Sales table and Price is in another table.

How do I combine these two seperate tables and then sum the multiplication of both values?

Assuming there's some way to join the tables, you just need the join syntax added on.

select product1*price as total from table1 t1 join table2 t2 on (t1.id=t2.t2id)
