Help with SELECT

Hi All

I have the following query:

[FONT=Courier New]SELECT tblproperties.id, referenceno, price, type,
shortdescription, areaname, locationname FROM tblproperties
LEFT OUTER JOIN tblpropertytypes ON (tblproperties.propertytypeid =
tblpropertytypes.id) LEFT OUTER JOIN tblareas ON (tblproperties.areaid =
tblareas.areaid) LEFT OUTER JOIN tbllocation ON (tblproperties.locationid =
tbllocation.id) WHERE tblproperties.id IN (4347,4328,4303,4341,4283,4261,4343,4536,4381,4274)[/FONT]

The order in which the records are returned are not based on the order as supplied within the IN (4347, 4328......)

They are returned always ID order (tblproperties.id). I need the records to be returned in the order as IN (4347, 4328....)

Can anyone tell me me how not to use the primary key order?

Your dbms may allow you to use CASE in an ORDER BY. Syntax may differ.

ORDER BY CASE tblproperties.id WHEN 4347 THEN 1 WHEN 4328 THEN 2 ... END
