Ok, so in college I used to play this (it was version II then I think) for huge amounts of time. Because I didn't have Friday classes for awhile I would start Thursday afternoon and play until Saturday (then I would go out and socialize some).
Anyways, recently I installed Civ III...I'm not sure why I did this.
I know there are better games, but I sure love this thing. I totally suck at it now though as it's become more complicated. I should look up all the cheats...
Anybody else spend far too much time with this game?
(I was reading about Civ IV last night and they are doing things with Python and XML. It sounds like they are really going to try to clean this thing up - and it sounds like to me, to make it really much more easy for people to add-on to the game).
