Cannot modify header information

Getting this error every now and then:
Also my page is rendering differently every now and then:S

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/topdown/public_html/includes/up.php:2) in /home/topdown/public_html/forum/includes/sessions.php on line 215

I don't know much about this, could someone point me in the right direction

If you have anything that modifies the headers in your code (i.e. setcookie, header, session_start) they have to be called before any output is sent (the first thing in your page should be the <?php tag not a blank line or space or any other output and that code block should not do an echo or print until after all your header changes are sent).

If your page renders differently at random times, that could be any reason. Need to see exactly what it should do and what is is doing that it shouldn't, before anyone can take a stab at that one.

i had an empty line before the <?
Didn't think of anything like that, Thanks a lot 😃

About the rendering, well see for yourself. think it has to be css related.
