Seen it before, but it's still pretty funny.

Perhaps we should start this here on these boards - every time a n00b posts something like "lets make an alert box in PHP!" or "php - help - error -frANTIC!!! i NEED HEKLP!!!", we mark it on a sticky thread (I'll leave that to the mods to make it a sticky 😉), and if we win, we get to post "BINGO" in whatever thread we're currently in. And as a prize, we could be "mod-for-a-day"! 😃

I like that n00b bingo idea. And to make fun of ourselves, what about the n00b hatin' bingo with words like STFU, RTFM, mark thread resolved, reword your question, show some code, etc? 😃

Yes, I do! How'd you know? 😃 Actually, I'm a mod at a few other places but they're really small ( < 50 users) and I'd like to mod at a big, full-scale community where I can really do some good things.

That's actually I good idea. Two games - one dealing with n00bs and their funny antics, and one dealing with us when we post stuff like that toward n00bs (although the one that posted it can't use it, then it'd be too easy. You gotta find someone elses 😉) Both could be played by anyone, although I don't think the n00bs would play that often.
