[RESOLVED] rotating image

Hi All,

Is anyone aware of a method to rotate images using PhP GD library? (I mean: Landscape to portret orientation rotating).

I am at a loss, and cannot really find anything good? am I missing something here?

Hey leatherback! Haven't seen you in a while. I've gotten bit more posts since last time we talked...anyway, how did you resolve your problem if no one posted? Could you post the answer so future users know what to do? I didn't like getting stuck at dead-ends when I was a n00b 😃

Hey Logan,

Is the programming coming along a bit more smoothly? I have been on holidays and got my PhD over the past few weeks. Now I am back to finish the project I was busy on. Oh, yeah., build some more websites which weree easy to program as well.

As for the rotating.. Hehe,

I did search the functionlist properly / with the right keyword.

There is this function imagerotate which doesn't show up in the phpbuilder manual search. I found it on google, in the third page of results somewhere. I have not implemented it (Went to bed first ;-) ) but it should work. Need to test the PhP version at my providers' servers first, because it only works on 4.3.0 +

Yup, programing's going great. My comp isn't - hard drive crashed and I had to send it back to Toshiba. I recovered all my data, but now I'm stuck working off of a 650 MHz Win98 Sony Vaio....ouch.
