How do I extract MYWEBSITE from this URL:

http://www.MYWEBSITE.com/...oet983h9esdadsssssss....

making sure that MYWEBSITE is directly located after www. (or http:// if www. does not exist)? Note that MYWEBSITE is not a fixed length!

$HTTP_HOST will return www.mywebsite (which you can then split) - someone might know a better way tho.
