BuzzLY is a good-looking middle aged guy (tho' somewhat younger than me) who is addicted to comics and cornholing (and you had best do some serious research before you think that makes him a pervert). He's very good with a number of aspects of programming, making him likely the only "regular" around here who knows LotusNotes, or at least who'll admit to knowing it. He's a book author, along with a number of our EL favorites. He's been unemployed, and I don't know his current job status, but somehow he still has 'Net access, and this makes us "regulars" pretty happy. 🙂
His avatar his undergone a few changes over the years, and has gained "superpowers", but it still can't win a staring contest. He understands bitwise shifts and writes them in code instead of addition/subtraction whenever possible 😉. He can whistle "Dixie" (or maybe it was "Born to be Wild"??) with a mouth full of Cheezits(r), regardless of how much {$beverage} is in his mouth at the time, or in his stomach for that matter....
He has a good grasp of Netiquette, and a great sense of humor, which he shows often. If you've half a brain, you can find out more about him via the Internet, since he has his own site --- (kinda makes this exercise pointless, but it's fun, I guess).... However he doesn't own the server, or else his "bob" script could count much higher than it does....
His profile states that he is an avid pool player, though I have no pictorial evidence of this. This should make him get along just fine with Sxooter, if they ever should meet. He has created a lot of interesting (and some rather useful) scripts based on the goofiness that goes on here at the Echo Lounge Who asked what 'EL' was?. These would be found in the "projects" subdirectory of his $DOCROOT.
He lives near Elizabeth and Goldbug, and they have occasionally fraternized together as a result of their common interest in PHP. To the best of my knowledge, Elizabeth has never used a LART on him in RL, but it wouldn't surprise me if he's pushed the envelope a bit to get her to try....
