Import address book from yahoo/hotmail/aol

I am coding a profiling site. And I need a way to import the yahoo/hotmail/aol address book into the site for invitation purposes.

I see many of the dating/profiling sites out there use this type of script to send invitations out. If I am a member, and I would like to send an invitation to everyone on my address book, I would enter my yahoo id and password and the script will automatically get the address book and send the invitation emails out.

Do you guys know of a way to do this? I been looking, but I can't seem to find a way to do it.

I havent heard of this myself, sounds interesting... it seems like a clever script if it can login to yahoo mail systems and access your account information such as the address book, I would of thought companies like Yahoo! would of restricted scripts from other sites to be able to do that, unless it is some sort of partnership.

can you give me some links to some profile sites that use such a script? I would really like to see it in action.

I wonder if yahoo and other online mail systems allow users to export their address book to some external file? if they do, you could obviously then get the user to upload that in their profile and have your script parse through it and pick out the addresses?

You would have to register to them dating/profiling sites to see this in action, however I found this:
