Greetings.
I have a new redhat es3 box which comes with PHP 4.3.2 installed on it.
It looks like redhat doesn't offer RPMs above 4.3.2 but I need to be at 4.3.3 or above as Drupal 4.6.x requires it for the search functionality to work properly.
So, I'm inquiring, for those who have been here and done that:
-what to look out for when upgrading php on redhat es3
-anyone have a good location for es3 rpms greater than 4.3.2
-or is compiling from source the best bet?
-when installing what's the best way (if there is one) to back up your old php install so you can roll back if needed.
tnx,
Rob
