Hi

I'm a complete newby to php and I was wondering if it would be possible to use it with ecommerce. What I would like is to create a booking system, so if a certain time is booked, it cannot be double booked etc.

I would like the user to be able to select a time and then pay the fee for that time, again, without double-booking.

How would I do this? Can I do it with PHP? What sort of database would I use? can I do it in Microsoft Access? How do I link it, invisibly to the site?!

However, it can be done...but you will either need to go a long way and learn how to do (which could be much fun for for you) or you should hire somebody to do it.
