Query Database while typing, ala Google Suggest Beta

Is it possible to supply database results in realtime while a user types into a form field, ala Google Search? Has anyone done anything like this in PHP?

I can't tell you exactly how they do it (as I didn't actually read their script), but I think one thing you might want to look at would be: javascript and httpXmlRequest (I think thats what it is called), check out this link, it may be of some help:
