What is bad? Why not output $arr['$i']??????????

$arr = glob("img/colors/*.gif");
$to = count($arr);

echo"<p align=\"center\">";

for ($i=0; $i<=$to; $i++){
print $arr['$i'];
}

Perhaps glob() is returning FALSE (and not an array)? Have you checked it?

Have you tried to see whether it actuial;ly results in an array?

print_r($arr);

will show you what is in it.

I tried print_r($arr) and it outputs:Array ( [0] => img/colors/0,0,0,black.gif [1] => img/colors/0,0,128,navy.gif [2] => img/colors/0,0,139,darkblue.gif [3] => img/colors/0,0,205,mediumblue.gif [4] => img/colors/0,0,255,blue.gif [5] => img/colors/0,100,0,darkgreen.gif [6] => img/colors/0,128,0,green.gif [7] =>..............and so on till 120. But why when i ask to output $arr['5'] it outputs nothing???

You're using single quotes around the $i variable. Don't use any (or you have to use double quotes). Also, it should be just "<" and not "<=". Example:

$arr = glob("img/colors/*.gif");
echo '<p align="center">';
for ($i=0, $to = count($arr); $i < $to; $i++) {
    print $arr[$i];
}
