PHP Book help

Hi,

I am new to PHP and would like recommendations for a great book! I am familiar with programming in general, I have a good handle on Java and HTML. I have experience with making web sites, but I'd like to learn how to make more dynamic sites.

As of now, I only have a soft idea of what I am trying to accomplish I'd like to find a book that teaches how to create a user registration with email varification, a message forum, and file uploading (jpg files). I don't even know if php does file uploads, but I am hoping!

Any books you can recommend would be great!

also www.php.net/manual/en is a good place to learn about the functions and libraries, although at first it may be difficult to understand until you have a slight grasp on the language.

www.zend.com/php/beginners/ seems to be a good tutorial for people to learn from as well.

and yes php can do file uploads. quite easily too.
