image metadata

I need a way to get what I think is called "metadata" from an image, it contains things like the title, comments, keywords e.t.c.

If you know what i'm talking about then it'd be great if you could tell me how to extract it from an image 🙂

Had a look at it and tried it out, but it doesn't give me the results that I need. Thanks though

What I was more talking about is, if for on a Window's machine, right click on an image file and select properties, then go to the summary tag and you'll see fields that can be filled in such as Title, Subject, Author. These then get stored in the image file itself (i've looked at the "source" of an image file with the title filled in and seen the writing in there).

Any more ideas?
