Word Scramble

I created this word scramble where the user tries to unscramble given words. I know, it doesn't look that eye-catching, and the HTML might be a little bit screwy, but that doesn't really matter. I can make it look nice later 😃. For now, I'd really appreciate if you could just take a look at the PHP code and see if it could be more efficient/secure/better...

http://vv.carleton.ca/~adewan/word_scramble.php is where you can find it. It's been tested in both PHP 5.0.4 (my home testing environment) and PHP 4.3.10 (my webspace).
