Need Help On Coding, Pleeasee....

Guyss...need help on coding...
I want to empty a table in a database with a certain amount of time (like once every 2 hours or once every 5 hours), can php do such thing like that, or should I use say javascript instead ? Everybody who have experiencing in this kind of problem or who knows the answer, please give me a lead...

assuming that you are using a *nix based server, run a cron job every 2 hours that executes a PHP like this:

<?php
// connect to db here

mysql_query('TRUNCATE table') or exit(mysql_error());
?>

you can use the Windows Task Scheduler, which is the same idea as cron.
