How do I make data (a URL) from MYSQL database clickable and link to a website

Hi guys.

Got a bit of a problem. Am working on a MySQL database using PHP, can get database to display list form database, then go to a details page and display the data I require, the problem I got is that some of the data entered in via a form is a URL of a business and what I want is that URL to be a link that the user can click on to take them to a website once displayed on my details page. Have been using Dreamweaver so far to construct project, will do what ever though any ideas?

The whole field is an URL, so it is not nested within a larger piece of text in that field?

In that case you can just echoout the field. You say you use dreamweaver. Do not have it.. Do not know the code it uses.

But, in principle you need to construct:
