This really isn't an unbiased, true contest. It's a "contest" among users of your software. In other words, "come to our site and look at all the people using our software." I don't see a problem with that except for two things -- one, it's a violation of PHPB's policies, and two, it's advertising thinly veiled as a "contest." Might as well create a graphic banner telling me that I'll win a TV if I punch the monkey. Oh, wait. That's been done. 😉

I'd just love to find a banner that lets me repeatedly punch a monkey. I don't want to see ads, I don't want a chance at some crappy prize. Punching said monkey is a reward in and of itself.
