Where do I start?

I have downloaded MySql 4.1, the latest version of PHP, IIS is installed on my computer and I also have the latest download from Apache.

Is there a process to follow when installing these?

I have tried numerous ways and it doesnt work for me.

I am using WinXP Pro OS

First thing you'd better decide is which you are going to use IIS or Apache - cos you really only want one or the other.

The PHP install is very different depending on which one you do use. Read the manual once you've decided.

i have downloaded sample four chapters from sitepoint.com and they are very good if u just want to learn how to install php, sql and stuff. have a look at that e-book.

Sheets I have followed previously showed install of IIS and Apache. Maybe this is why it doesnt work for me :-0
