I'm needing to build a fairly simple survey module for my company. The survey module will allow a user to login and will list all of the surveys that they have not taken yet. If they have already taken this survey I don't wish for them to see it.
I'm still in the pre-planning phase and wanted to get some input on how some of you guys might set this up
My tables:
Active Surveys - Lists ALL active surveys for a given "month or week"
Survey Results - Pools results from all surveys that have been taken
Users - User details
I figured I would call from Active Surveys to print if no row from Survey Results including the users id and survey id DO NOT EXIST.
Example of Users Layout:
Song Title 1 (Survey Title) - [ rating ] - [ audience reaction ] - [ comments ] - (date)
Song Title 2 (Survey Title) - [ rating ] - [ audience reaction ] - [ comments ] - (date)
Song Title 3 (Survey Title) - [ rating ] - [ audience reaction ] - [ comments ] - (date)
Song Title 4 (Survey Title) - [ rating ] - [ audience reaction ] - [ comments ] - (date)
Song Title 5 (Survey Title) - [ rating ] - [ audience reaction ] - [ comments ] - (date)
[submit]
I'm not fishing for any specific code but would love some help in "wrapping" my head around this one since my experience as a noo-b has had me dealing with only 1 table at a time.
Thanks
