[RESOLVED] a variable which ALL php-skripts can access????

hello,

i read the article on super-globals and well maybe i am too dumb to
understand it ....

i am in need of a variable, which must be accessable from all my php-scripts.
so far i checked all of the variables according to the article, but thats not
functioning.

can u help me with this???

one thing:
i dont want to write sth. to a file or in a db to be accessable ...

put the variable definition in a file and [man]include[/man] that file from any other script that need access that variable. if you need to access the variable from within a fucntion then you can use the [man]global[/man] keyword or simply access it directly from the $GLOBALS array.

Also, there's a value in PHP.INI to auto_prepend a file to every PHP script. This accomplishes the same thing, but without you having to type include("filename.php"); on every PHP script.
