I need to group together variables. I have a $POST['birth_month'] $POST['birth_day'] and a $_POST['birth_year']

I need to group them together so say

$POST['birth_month'] = 1;
$POST['birth_day'] = 2;
$_POST['birth_year'] = 1990;

I need it to return 121990, just grouping them. I thought it was like this but it's not...

$dob = $POST['birth_month']$POST['birth_day']$_POST['birth_year'];

Use PHP period concatenation character:

$dob = $POST['birth_month'] . $POST['birth_day'] . $_POST['birth_year'];
