Changing URL of Photo Gallery (Forum)

I have a Photo Gallery in my Forum. Users can upload there photos in the categories provided or in their own personal gallery.

See http://forum.face-crib.com/album.php

When users upload photos to their PERSONAL GALLERY the url of their gallery shows as:

http://forum.face-crib.com/album_personal.php?user_id=4

How would i go about making this so that the URL would show as:

http://forum.face-crib.com/username

If you're using Apache, do a Google search for mod_rewrite.
