So many newcomers to this forum try to resolve threads editing the original post's subject to "RESOLVED" or by posting a new message with subject/content "RESOLVED"...so, since the staff here has already hacked up vBulletin for the Mark Thread Resolved link, why not put in some PHP code to see if a post's subject or content has been edited with RESOLVED in it, and mark the thread resolved automatically? Of course, it should only apply to those who started the thread, or anyone could mention the word "RESOLVED" and it becomes resolved.
Any comments?
