hi!, i am rodolfo and i have a database, but i want to fill it in two pages, but when finishing that two pages , all the info goes to one same line, but i cant, i think that i have to put some variables, but i dont know where and how.!!! [e-mail] please i neeeeed help!!! :glare:

Pass data from one page to another in <input type=hidden> elements, or use session vars to store them.

dont you think it would be easier for you to ignore these resolved threads instead of running around the board bumping them all?

Most of the time, I come to these resolved threads because I see them high up in the thread list, and they don't have a "[RESOLVED]" indicator on them. Without that, I have no clue (I'm not psychic) whether or not the thread is resolved. So I waste time reading through the thread, and I'd like to help others to not make the same mistakes as me. So I tell the original poster to mark it resolved, because, most of the time, he/she will say "thanks", use the fix, and go on their merry way, never thinking about this forum again.

Also, I don't actively look for resolved threads that haven't been "[RESOLVED]". I actively look for threads I can help people in; however, like I said earlier, when I come across one which is resolved, I'll let them know so that A) others don't make my mistake, and skip past "[RESOLVED]" threads, and 😎 the resolver now knows a bit more about the board and how things work.

hey what are the fields?

database name: sample table

database fileds: name, nick_name, DOB, password etc.,

u need to fill in the first page for example if u want to fill in
fileds name and password

get the name and password in two separate varibales.
first check the constarints int the table and add the records in the table.

post it to the next page via
for example
<p align="center"><b><a href="nextpage.php ?var1=<?php echo $user; ?> ?var2=<?php echo $pass; ?> "> COMPOSE</a></b></p>

ok then use the var1 and var to in the next page man if u want to do insert in the next page u will have to update the existing record

use the comand

update table table_name set DOB='$dob' <, etc> where name='$var1' and pass='$pass' ;
