I've been hunting all over for mysql's .ini file (I think it's called my.ini) and can't locate it anywhere. Mac OS X Server (10.4/Tiger) comes with mysql preinstalled, so nothing got put where it would have if I'd been running an installer myself.
I need to add a line to use old passwords, since it uses mysql 4.1.1a, and apparently requires the new password hash scheme, which phpMyAdmin (or PHP 4) doesn't do.
