Hello all,

I'm having a problem with this textarea form. How do you make textarea form recoginzes whether it's a hyperlink or text data. For instance, I have this form where users input their comments and their home page. However, when these datas submit to the database, they're appeared as regular text. Is there anyway I can make their comments appear as regular text and homepage as a hyperlink using a same form? I really appreciate your help!!!!

Not sure what you mean.. Should the complete text be only text, mixed text/url or url only ?
anyway, have a look at pear.php.net/validate

If you would would like hyperlinks within the text, you could do some string replace after a complex regex..
Easiest would be to have more field, one for each type (url/email/name/comment). This is much more flexible and you could still mix the text after input.
