company id help 2:

I own the a new site: www.xgaming.org and I am using a premade gaming cms (not made by me). On the page: http://xgaming.org/companies.php I edited the scripts so the when you select the company to view, the url will have their name in it eg:
xgaming.org/companies.php?do=view&name=COMPANYNAME

But now when you select the company it comes up with: "Critical Error: Aborting script operations.". The code is:

When you added the &name=COMPANYNAME to the URL, did you get rid of something that looked like &id=COMPANYID ?

because now youve broken this line...

if ( !is_numeric($_REQUEST['id']) )

followed by a few more. i told you in another post that changing from id to tittle might break some code. were not really here to rewrite whole solutions for you. did you write this cms, or at least understand how it works?

Yeah, if you got rid of the id variable in the address, then you'll have trouble with most of the pages, I would suspect, as this is an already-written cms. If you want the name in the address bar for some reason, you should leave the id= in too.
