i am building a db for my schoole. my problem is this, i have a table in my DB wich has some field like student name , lname, and there is even a field that shows if student has been present or not during the lesson (it is choosen by checkbox) if the student hasnt been 25% in the class he cant give his exams. i need a query fr this . can anyone help me for these please . thanks you

How is your table set up? Is a new row added every day that says if the student was in class or not? If so, you'll have to run a query to calculate how many rows are present for the student, divided by the number of rows where that student "was present" to get a percentage of how much he/she was there.

Are you trying to get a list of those who were present enough to take exams? I don't understand what the overall goal is that you're trying to reach...

hey mike thanks for yr replay. i really need a help. the problem is a little bit komplicated. this table has even some ID like ID_pedagog , ID_Thema , ID_Data, ID_Year, it is connected with some other tables . this table contain all the information about student. and the record of it r changed every time the pedagog submit the form, becouse it is a pedagog that fill the form . do u understand me ? wat is more but i think this is going to make a little bit complicated there this form is even for seminar , project ect . it means that in the moment that the pedagog fill the date , he choose even if it is a seminar , e leksion, or a project , please give me a suggestion , i really dont know how to do it . and all these r been saved in this damn table. can anyone do anything for me plsss? i wold be very happy . thanks
