Is it my web hosts or me??

PHP pages work fine locally. They worked fine the other day on the personal web space i had with my ISP. I have since changed ISPs and now when i try to view my PHP pages on the new personal web space, both Firefox and IE try to download the files!

I called the new ISPs tech support and they say they support PHP. I tested on geocities and it is the same problem.

What's up with that? Any ideas?

Sounds like PHP isn't configured properly.

Convince your host by creating a phpinfo() page (so that they can't blame your code) and show that your browsers try to download it. It's their problem.

If you don't get anywhere, post the ISP details here as a warning to others.

maybe it's because of the extension of your files?

.php, .php4, .php5, ... all that is possible and none of them has to work in all cases (although .php is quite common)
