need some php/html help plz , im a newbie :(

last couple of years i been learning html , i now run my own html help site sharin all i have learnt , now im starting to exsplore php and need some help ,
1 - i have a webserver i use with my ISP (blueyonder.co.uk) it allows simple php but is it ok to use for advance php / mysql ?
2 - ive got a workin form and it does wat it is meant to but is it posible to log the data the form sends ? for example the form is for orders and it reurns what you orderd to the user but can it be made so i (admin) and view all these orders and who done them ? any help welcome thanks in advance

sure. just have the data from the form logged into a DB, or text file. you can either view the raw data, or write a quickie app that displays it for you

and in english ? lol sorry i am a true newby , my aim is to have a seperate from that will display the amount shown once order , my php displays that the person has placed an order but i as site admin have no record of any transaction , u seem to know a thing or 2 , any advise and places i could go to get some more help ???
