php mysql .xml confusion....

I recently downloaded an inventory management solution that utilizes php and a mysql database. Installation was flawless and is working fine. However, I'm trying to make some changes but am unclear as to the implementation of .xml files. Is there a website that explains .xml and php?

I would like to add some features to the web page being built, but am unclear as to where and how to add the php code in the .xml file.

Hi, and welcome to PHPBuilder!

I'm sure there are lots of sites that explain PHP and XML; some of them might even explain how to use them together. You're familiar with search engines, I'm sure; in addition to those "at large" on the 'Net, we've got a kewly-cool "search link" right at the top of this page that you could utilize to find postings about such things.

Also, if you want to post a little code, I'm sure some kindly soul might be able to discuss it with you.
