editing PHP.ini

php-4.4.0-Win32 on winnt4.0 / iis4

While I know the OS and IIS4 are not up to speed, my questiuon is really about the php.in file.

I have copied and edited the supplied php.ini-recommended file. Looking at the contents of the file, Under Module Settings, there are several entries for stuff like [sybase], [PostgresSQL], and [mssql].

Can I just delete these sections from the php.ini file altogether since I have no need for them, or would this break the ini file ?

or..Would it be more prudent just to comment out those section variables.

deleting them wont break anything, but, i would just comment them out. you never know when you may need them.
