I have a http://www.pfpi.org/index.php website, i can open it with IE but not in firefox. Using macromedia I save the index.php to index2.htm and it open in firefox. I want to use the PHP (newbies) but how?
Some of our viewer are using MAC.. Please help.
NOTE: I also save it to JSP, ASP and JS it doest work for firefox.
What happens when you try to open it in firefox?
I use firefox all the time and have never had this problem.
It say's that "You have chosen to open which is a: application/octet-stream from http://www.pfpi.org/ ... What should Firefox do with this file? 1. Open with BROWSE 2. Save to Disk" -- My file is http://www.pfpi.org/index.php can you open this site using Firefox?
Thank you for the reply..
I'm seeing the same behaviour. I would guess that your web server isn't sending the correct headers.
Try searching this forum. This issue has probably come up before.
Sorry I can't be more help.
Cuz Your Server Won't Support PHP! thats why ive check your site header info and i doesn't containg any x-powered by php (Well i know that u can turn it off in php.ini but in most of the cases its turned on)
and your server also don't support asp or Jsp You need a HOST that support PHP to run php scripts
Get rid of the second line of code:
line 1: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3c.org/TR/1999/REC-html401-19991224/loose.dtd">
line 2: <HTML xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
You are declaring your document to be 4.01 transitional html and then on line 2 XHTML....
Try getting rid of line 2...
