I've just got a new dell dimension 9100 3.2ghz Intel hyperthreading pc but I cannot download any files on it because they all die about 3 seconds into download. I've tried everything I know about windows networking I've removed QoS Packet scheduler, i've downloaded all of the MS updates tried all of the registry tweaks I know and it still won't work. I know it's not my internet connection because it's the new blueyonder 4mb (soon to be 10mb) uncapped. also I have ruled out it being my access point because my other pc can connect to the internet great. and yes I have tried turning that pc off as well so theres only one pc on the access point. the thing is that I can get kazza lite to download american tv shows which are like 355mb+ why can't Internet explorer, Netscape Navigator or FireFox download files or normally.
[RESOLVED] XP Problems
I've found the solution to this problem and below is a tutorial in psuedo of how it was done
<?psuedo
if (preinstalled_windows != "working"){
format("C:");
Destroy ($Restore Discs);
Reinstall("XP_SP2");
install("RedHat");
shout_loudly "sit back and enjoy the ride";
}
?>
:rolleyes: Oh Well
